You will be getting lovage in your box tomorrow - among other things...including bok choi.  I am sure you will recognize everything else.

I use lovage in salads, stews, or stir fry.  It has a "spicy" celery flavor.

According to my herb book, lovage is a good rheumatic detoxificant, helping to relieve fluid retention and poor circulation.  Used in a tea it will relieve sore throats. 

 

Truthfully, I just like the flavor.  It is a great herb, but I am sure most herbs had medicinal values which have been lost over the years.  Give it a try!
