We are having a great growing year.  The blueberries are coming in strong.  We had a great red raspberry time.  They are taking a break and will be coming back strong in a few weeks.  We are beginning to pick plums - Shiro, methley and early gold.  The sweet cherries are about gone as are the sour cherries.

It is hard to believe that we will be picking sweet corn in a couple weeks.  The tomoatoes are starting to ripen in the fields.  The cherry tomoatoes and reds from the high tunnel are sweet and delicious.

The peas are being plowed under and making way for fall lettuce.  We have had to spray the broccoli for the first time because of the hot weather the bugs are getting to it.

We have picked all the Lodi and Transparent apples already.  I saw some watermelons the size of canteloupes so I know that they will be ready in a month.  The okra got a slow start because of the cool weather in May, but it has bounced back and we will soon be picking some okra.

We hope that you are enjoying your summer.  It is busy as usual.  We take our vacations in January!

Thanks you for supporting our farm and we look forward to seeing folks at our market stands.  We are at several new markets this year.  Please check them out if you live within range.

Our spraying techniques - We do not spray vegetables unless we sense a dire need.  We will let you know if we do spray them.  We do not spray any berries.  We do spray fruit trees i.e.  apples, cherries, plums, etc.  Please ask us if you have any questions.
